Description
Playa de La Loma is an alternative to the main Maspalomas Gay Beach by the lighthouse (Kiosks 5 and 6, formerly 7).
Playa de La Loma is a gay naked cruising rocky beach visited mainly by Gran Canaria locals. It is located a little further South from the Maspalomas Lighthouse. It gets the busiest between late afternoon and up to sunset.
This spot is remote from the town. Do not expect any facilities such bars and bathrooms. Bring your own stuff.
Be physically fit and strong to go there as the topography of the area is quite difficult to access and navigate. Watch out not to fall! Also, if you are afraid of heights, forget about it !
How to get there
Get as near as possible to this Location spot. Simply, follow the natural pathways, men are hanging down the cliff.
By car: The trip is only 10 minutes. Park by the location spot above along the road.
By bus: Take bus number 1 direction Puerto de Mogan (there is a stop on Avenida de Tirajana next to Yumbo and stop at the bus stop called La Loma which is right above it. The trip takes about 25 minutes).
Pros and Cons
Pros: just the right amount of guys. Not too busy but still enough for fun. Nakedness. Nature feel. Much faster access than the Dunas.
Cons: this is not a sandy beach, it can be comfortable if you are not geared appropriately (bring a yoga/gym mat as well as anti-slippery footwear, see picture). It is not ideal for casual swimming, be on the lookout for from which point the guys are going in the water.

Do not throw away garbage and do not take pictures of the people.
