Mykonos is possibly the most popular gay bar at the Yumbo.
Features: pop music, projections of video clips on screens, 2 dancefloors, sexy bartenders and a cruising area.
Mykonos is on the top floor of Yumbo (Avenida de Tirajana side), next to the Mantrix nightclub, they are open every single night from 11:00 p.m. to 3:30 a.m. During the week, expect a nice chill drink out. For busy crowded dancing: Fridays and Saturdays.
If you like The Moon in Barcelona, you will love Mykonos in Maspalomas. It´s quite a similar concept but better because it has an outside chill area.
Pros and Cons:
Pros: many sexy guys, great lighting which makes guys looks super hot, great music and dancefloors, great atmosphere. Most people are there to socialize and meet new guys.
Cons: They have 2 rooms but both play the exact same type of music. Also it closes too early, but it makes sense as they also own the club Mantrix next door, and everyone just goes there once they are shutting down Mykonos.
